
Carrot Porridge
Dessert: Carrot Thirukkamudu
As the name suggests, you need grated carrot to make this dessert. Grated
carrot, milk, sugar and clarified butter (ghee) are the main ingredients of this dessert.
Grate carrot and roast it in clarified butter. You can roast for about 3 minutes or till you get a nice roasted
smell. Grind the roasted carrot with a little milk in a mixer-grinder. Pour the mixture in a pan, add the remaining milk and sugar and
boil for 5 minutes. Add the garnishing and keep aside for 5 mts. You can serve it hot or cold.
You can garnish the porridge with roasted cashew nut and almond as well as cardamom powder and saffron paste. Read the
