· Cut down on your salt intake. Instead of adding salt you can use herbs, horseradish, fresh gingers, spices, lemon juice, tomato puree, vinegar, Soya sauce, vegetable stock, yeast extract and chutney.
· Cut down your consumption of processed food to avoid the “empty calories” of saturated fats, added sugar, refined cereal grains and additives.
· When you are having fruits try to peel the fruit as little as possible as the peel and pith are very nutrient rich.
· Cook the vegetables very lightly by simply steaming or stir-frying and eat raw vegetable to benefit from hormones and enzymes.
