For example, if you have joined an affiliate program for selling garden tools, a good domain name would be garden-tools.com and not acme-garden-tools.com. If you make the domain name too specific, you may lose out if the affiliate program does not work.

Web Space is very integral to an affiliate marketer and you should try to ensure that you have enough space to expand your website whenever you want to. Most web hosts charge anywhere between $5 to $50 a month, but my advice is check the features you get before you buy the hosting pack. The web space should also give you the feature to include additional domains if you want. This is very helpful when are promoting different kinds of affiliate programs where you can have a separate minisite for each.
